The stage from Sremski Karolinka to Belgrade is not very nice for nature lovers.
25 km before Belgrade I decide to take a bus to Belgrade for only 2.52 € incl. Bike. It was a good thing too. The access road to Belgrade is narrow and has a high traffic volume and there is a lot of garbage on both sides of the road. The hitherto ugliest route of the whole tour. The campsite in the outskirts of the city is also a disappointment.

Completely agree with you guys. That part of the city is mostly commercial with roads from 1950 and traffic that would bring down on the knees much bigger cities.
Bus option is always good as well as riding on the sidewalk just to pass Pupin bridge. After that, you can head down to the Dunav banks and enjoy one of the best rides that you will have in the area. Zemun kej. It will take you all the way to the centre of the Belgrade.

This should be labelled as a warning, not a highlight. You can completely avoid the main road if you use Komoot right. Just select the beautiful riverside trail when planning your route, worth the minute of time to look and modify the route before starting. A short unpaved (but very bikeable) section might only be selected if in bike touring or MTB mode.

Bicycling this section is cruel. Sow a lot of traffic, drive partially careless even car drivers, in the summer a nasty heat. From the waterfront it will be good to the city center of Belgrade.
