The Bavella Pass is one of the most beautiful passes in Corsica. Behind the statue of Maria Schnee opens the view of rugged rocks that scratch the clouds like organ pipes.

Also known under the fitting name "Dolomites Corsica".

The Col de Bavelle is one of the classics which one should have ridden as a cycled tourist times.
Of course, because of the great views and the now really good road at least the approach from Porto Vecchio (from Solenzara from m
I drove the last time 25 years ago and there it was still cruel)
But of course one must have been there because of the so Offenbacher sticker on the passport

It's just one of the Nordic classics.
But also because of the sticker on the sign
    The Offenbachers are everywhere 🤣😂

One of the classics in Corsica where you should have been a reprimanded tourist times. Can I drive from Zonsa think easier than Solenzara.
Which of course enhances the whole is the sticker with the Offenbacher on the sign on the pass

Col de la Bavella - the highlight of my Corsica tour. Long, but simple west driveway with moderate slopes, very varied landscape, partly total solitude, partly moderate tourism (Zonza). At some point the peaks of the mountains appear, you feel in the Dolomites. At the top of the pass a lot of bustle, but little traffic on the relatively steep east - exit to Solenzara. Solenzara is ok, have experienced worse in Corsica on the coast. Beautiful beach.
