In fact, there are multiple entrances (all somewhat hidden) and multiple trails. When you get to the top of the mountain, the dirt road becomes a paved path at some point - on the paved stretch there is a steep climb shortly after the transition from the dirt road and you can drive into the forest just before the climb. Alternatively, you can also drive up the tarred climb, then a little further up the meadow field path and then left into the forest. The trail itself also has various forkings and exits.
