In the far north of Karnap there is an extension of the Gladbeck heap landscape: the Stinneshalde is the smallest heap in the Braucker heap profile. Nevertheless, she has a lot to offer. On the eastern visual aisle, it gives a clear view of the winding tower of the former Nordstern colliery - and the 23-ton Hercules by the artist Markus Lüpertz. The waste-to-energy plant with its chimneys and cooling towers is located to the south below the heap. To the west is the Bottrop coking plant Prosper.
