Baske Ostarije is a great base for touring the surrounding peaks. The place has a great campground, hostel and mountain hut.
Important note: there are no supply stores.

I chose the tour to Straight Beaver and back. It is mostly asphalt, and smaller is gravel. The Cubus Lookout offers an unforgettable view of the sea.
At one part of the road passes over Premužić trail (everyone knows what the trail is about :))
Mostly nice tour not too demanding but there are a lot of gentle uphill climbs.
