Such a bunker is actually not a highlight, but a monument and memorial. However, the place and its approach can be an occasion to deal with the connections.
The bunker is on private property, so access is only possible with the owner's consent, but also on the occasion of Open Monument Day.

A very interesting facility in Velbert. Created during the Second World War to keep Allied bombers from the Krupp site in Essen. Two very competent people led us through the long-forgotten facility, which was only rediscovered in 2011 and has been lovingly looked after by volunteers ever since

In my opinion, the remains of the old night lighting system are not a highlight in the true sense of the word, but it is an interesting place, albeit for other reasons.
If there is no "tour or something similar" at the bunker, it gets lost in a very unattractive way between rather wild vegetable gardens, a shabby farm with livestock and a lot of untidy rubble and garbage.
