There are two surprises, one is just how good this track is (it wouldn't be out of place in the Surrey Hills), the other is just as you enter from Newport Road (the steps are quite large!)

I think this trail is meant to ridden south to north. I added it as a waypoint when planning my route and Komoot automatically added it in north to south. It was pretty dismal riding it that way but looks like it might be fun the other way!
