A memorial stone of the "Steenhauerie Timme" on behalf of the NPDG designed for the bereaved of buried at sea. The monument stands on the dike crest near the Hunnenkoog, in the middle of nature. If you look through a breakthrough in the stone, you can see the point on the horizon where the urns are handed over to the sea. Next to the imposing stone, a bench invites you to linger. We had a lot of wind and temperatures around 16 degrees on the whole tour. On the island there are coffee and beach coffees everywhere, which would offer fine cakes 🍰, but before 12:30 everything is closed, so better take the thermos jug with "Himself"
