Lac de Joux is the largest lake in the Jura mountains. You can completely circle it by bike. On the way you can enjoy beautiful beaches and swimming spots for refreshing breaks.

Lac de Joux is located at an altitude of 1004 metres and is at the foot of the very distinctive Dent du Lion massif. It is a glacial lake of great beauty and the largest in the entire Jura massif. A road goes all the way around it. The small hamlet "le Pont" which is located on the edge of the lake, has a restaurant and a small grocery store.
