Fort Tigné is a fort in Tigné Point, Sliema. It was built between 1793 and 1795 by the Order of St. John to protect the entrance to the harbor.

Fort Tigné is a polygonal fortress, built between 1793 and 1795 by the Order of St. John to protect the entrance to the port of Marsamxett and is one of the oldest polygonal fortresses in the world. The fortress was extensively rebuilt by the British in the 19th century and remained in use by the military until 1979.
Fort Tigné was restored at the beginning of the 21st century and is now in good condition. Since 1998 it has been on Malta's tentative UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the knightly fortifications surrounding the ports of Malta.
