Flowing through southern Alberta before joining the South Saskatchewan River, the Oldman River is the defining natural feature of Pavan Park. Its wide, slow-moving waters carve through coulees and cottonwood forests, creating a rich habitat for deer, herons, and beavers. Along the park’s trails, you’ll find several access points to the riverbank — perfect for picnics, photography, or simply taking in the sound of the water.
