    St. Nicholas Abbey in Passau is a former Augustinian Canons Regular monastery.

    Today it is the motherhouse of the Teutonic Order Sisters.

    In 1972, the crypt was rebuilt and reopened in 1978, the year the modern university was founded. From the beginning of 2012 to the end of 2016, the church underwent extensive renovations. Today it shines in renewed splendor and invites visitors to linger.

    In addition to the university, there is also a kindergarten on the monastery grounds.
