The Monument to the Independence of Uzbekistan stands as a powerful symbol of the nation's sovereignty and rich cultural heritage. Located in Mustaqillik Maydoni, or Independence Square, in Tashkent, this impressive complex replaced a former monument to Lenin following Uzbekistan's declaration of independence in 1991.
