    The Postal Museum exhibits Bhutanese stamps and describes the everyday life of the postmen who used to deliver messages to remote villages. You can also buy stamp series at the museum.

It illuminates Bhutan's rich traditions and cultural heritage, offering nostalgic glimpses into Bhutanese history. You will see legendary messengers from the pre-postal era and learn about the postal technology that held Bhutanese society together. You will discover how Bhutan's monarchs stayed in contact with their subjects, how the government informed its citizens, and how people communicated with one another throughout the centuries.

      The Bhutan Postal Museum was established in 2016 to commemorate the 60th birthday of His Majesty King Jigme Singye Wangchuck.
