The Roman Forum Lahnau-Waldgirmes is a former fortified trading center of the Roman Empire, which is located on the edge of today's village of Waldgirmes.

Here at the forum itself there is not much to see apart from the floor plans and a replica of the equestrian statue. Interesting, however, is the visit as part of a guided tour, during which you learn a lot about the excavation work and can see a few finds in the office of the friends' association.
A visitor center is to be built in the area of the forum - then it will be even more interesting.
