Konnekoski is not only a popular destination for paddling and fishing but also a cozy spot for hiking and outdoor activities.

The rapids flow from Lake Hankavesi to Lake Konnevesi. The northern shore of the rapids is part of the protected areas within the Southern Konnevesi National Park. From the parking area, there is a trail approximately 400 meters long leading to the Kellarilahti shore, one of the designated landing sites in the national park.

By the rapids, there is a cooking shelter, and from its shore, a small bridge allows access to a tiny island surrounded by the rapids.
