At the Bubec Tourist Farm, they are engaged in aquaculture, game farming (mouflons and damask), the production of table eggs and tourism. On the farm you can be served grilled trout from your own farm, smoked trout and other dishes that are produced at the farm.

Guests are kindly invited to visit nicely arranged tourist rooms, which offer 12 beds.

At the farm you will be served with their specialties: grilled trout, home-made bread from a farmhouse and other delicacies.

Visitors can see farmed game - damask and mouflons at home. By arrangement, you can take part in a sports hunt, and in a local pond and two adjacent lakes you can enjoy sports fishing.

There are forest paths for walking, running and cycling along the farm, while in the immediate vicinity there are: children's playground, picnic area, tent and bowling alley.

They have their own farm in the farm and are also involved in the production of eggs, so you can buy fresh trout and eggs on it.

If you decide to spend your holidays at the Bubec farm, you can go for short trips to the sea or mountains. Only half an hour drive separates you from the mountain resort Sviščaki, from where you can ascend to Snežnik (1796 m); in that very time you reach the sea in the Kvarner bay, where you can swim.

Schedule: All weekends are open from May 1st to the end of October.

Location: The valley of the Posrtev stream lies at the foot of Brkini, only 4 km from Ilirska Bistrica. Take it from the main road Ilirska Bistrica - Podgrad, if you drive through the river Zarečje on the bridge across the river and then turn left to the crossroads in the Posrtva valley. In this idyllic environment surrounded by unspoiled nature is the Bubec homestead, surrounded by meadows, pastures and forests.
