The Elisabeth Spring is located in the forest near the Nobitz Aviation Museum. It is very well signposted. It's a lovely resting place, maintained by a community interest group and foresters. Despite testing, the spring's water is not currently labeled as drinking water. During the GDR era, it was somewhat neglected due to Soviet settlement. It was rededicated in 2021.

The Elisabeth-Quelle is a renatured spring in the Leinawald which, along with other tributaries, feeds the Spannerbach. The spring was already an excursion destination in the first half of the 20th century and was piped in the course of the military expansion of the airfield in the Leinawald around the middle of the 20th century and was forgotten for about 70 years.
