Brief chronological overview
Before the jousting competitions, there is a parade of jousting competitors, all dressed in white and accompanied by traditional music.
The jousting competitors then line up on the boat's platform to begin the tournament.
At the moment of the attack, the two boats (red and blue) touch on the right side to allow the jousting competitors to use their shield and lance to bring down their opponent. The winner is the jousting competitor who stays on his platform.

On Wednesdays, all year round, the downtown market in Sète takes place around the Halles Centrales. You can stroll through the streets of the city and find various products, including many local products and even local dishes to take away.
The market halls - the center of city life are open every day until 1 p.m.,
The traders' tables bend under the fresh fish, the numerous local shellfish specialties and the sun-ripened fruit and vegetables.
