Frank Gehry's three buildings are well worth seeing at any time of day. The architecture is inspired by its surroundings – the white house is reminiscent of the barrels that were once loaded there, the brick-red house of crates, and the aluminum-clad building, with its extremely elaborate construction, evokes either sails (presumably due to its proximity to the harbor) or the drapery of a Madonna... It's definitely worth taking an architectural tour of the harbor ;-).

The American architect Frank O. Gehry represents the structural transformation of Düsseldorf's harbor🌊💙.
Just in time for the turn of the millennium, this expressive building ensemble was added to the list of Düsseldorf's landmarks🌆.
Gehry created three sculptural, organically shaped buildings that defy any geometric constraints and also differ in materiality, height, and formal language. The three facades are particularly contrasting:
