The church, dedicated to Saint Christopher, was built in 1625 and got its current appearance in 1725. The quarry stone building was given a square half-timbered tower with a pointed spire on the west gable. The west gable was also designed in half-timbered construction. A round-arched portal flanked by two commemorative plaques is embedded in the western wall. The nave is covered by a simple wooden ceiling.

The interior is simply furnished, the most valuable item is the 1000-year-old altar slab. The organ gallery is on the west side.

When the Elbe flooded in 2013, the church suffered serious damage.

There is an arched portal embedded in the west wall, which is flanked by two memorial plaques. The nave is spanned by a simple flat ceiling made of wood.

The interior is simply furnished, the most valuable piece of inventory is the 1000-year-old altar plate. The organ gallery is on the west side.
