The Herzoghof was the third city castle in Krems an der Donau and was built in the 12th century under Duke Heinrich II. Today, this historic building complex still consists of three buildings arranged around a courtyard. Special structural features include a walled-up Gothic pointed arch portal, baroque-walled bifore windows and embrasures in the base area.
Unfortunately, this historic building appears to be falling into disrepair.
