Pantai Ngobaran is a busy beach. Numerous fishing boats are sheltered in the small bay, where Indonesian tourists are looking for a cooling dip in the sea. A little further afield, at low tide, fields of green and brown seaweed are exposed among the corals and appear like rice paddies when viewed from above.
At the top of the rock that slopes steeply towards the sea is a temple with white statues of gods. This site was founded in 2003 to commemorate the presence of Brawijaya V, one of the descendants of the Majapahit king, in Ngobaran.
