It is one of two beaches in Oakledge, the other being Oakledge Cove. The beach is close to various amenities, including restrooms, tennis courts, softball fields and picnic pavilions. The Burlington Greenway Path runs right along the beach with picturesque views of Lake Champlain, making it an excellent place to start or end a run any time of the day.
