The trail gets more technical as you ascend out of the trees but the views are absolutely stunning — this is certainly one of the most beautiful runs you can do in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. The climb up the ridge is steady but not too steep, an you get incredible panoramic views of the Arapahoe Peaks, the chain of lakes cascading down the valley from Arapahoe Glacier to Silver Lake, and the peaks to the south. If you are an avid trail runner, this run needs to be on your bucket list.
