The Castro de Toiriz, also known as Eira dos Mouros, is an Iron Age archaeological site located near the village of Toiriz, in the parish and municipality of Silleda, in the province of Pontevedra.
In addition to its historical value, the Castro de Toiriz offers a beautiful view towards the south of the Val de Tabeirós and the lands of Deza1. Like every Galician fort, this one in Toiriz is also surrounded by legends of mouros and other mythological beings that are part of the history of the region. 🏰🌳
