The medieval town church is built of limestone blocks in basilikaform with nave and two passages. During the restoration in the 1880s, however, much was rebuilt.
The choir is from 1250 and is listed in tiles, as well as the later tower Sct. Anna's chapel. It is one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings in the country.
The cemetery next to the church is no longer used since the new cemetery was built in the area surrounding the town.

The church has very beautiful wall paintings and carvings. The use of space is also impressive: there is seating in the chancel for smaller congregations, and there are chairs in the large nave so that you can be flexible. In the side aisle there is a community room with the option of a church café.
