If you look to the left, you can see the chapel of Gebertsham, to the right is the Bay of Mattsee. A small canal connects the Mattsee with the Obertrumer See.

The Trumer Lake District is certainly a highlight in Salzburger Flachgau. From Haunsberg / Berndorf you can continue via Mattsee but continue to Tannberg (Gmd Schleedorf). Summit cross on Tannberg (komoot recommendation!) As a destination. At the transit / return course station on the "beach" of Mattsee.
