On the facade of the Church is the Roman Trifinio. The trifinio of Villanueva de Córdoba is an oblong block of granite one meter and twenty-five centimeters long by thirty-five centimeters wide, with a legend written in Latin that shows that it was the dividing milestone or landmark of the jurisdictional terms of three cities Roman: Sacili Martialum (which was located in the place called Alcurrucén, near the Cordovan municipality of Pedro Abad), Epora (currently Montoro) and Solia.
