The several routes of the "City Wall" can be combined with each other according to taste. Only a good 50 meters in altitude and yet due to the partly wide distances and overhangs (difficulty D/E), you can let your strength down here. The easier route is graded A/B/C and is also suitable for children and families. Already on the way, e.g. from the great panorama ladder - you have a wonderful view over the city of Salzburg - from the vantage point at the end of the trail you can enjoy it in peace.

City Wall offers three entrances with different levels of difficulty, with "Kapuziner Gams" D/E being the most difficult. Key point E is able to squeeze sweat from the forehead (overhang)🥵. Bergspezl Route B/C is much easier. The Salewa Route C is not very demanding anymore and I only used it for the descent (twice). All routes cross in the middle of the via ferrata and can be freely combined. Super fun!
