A phenomenal bike path, which connects Amarante and Arco de Baúlhe. The condition of the pavement is impeccable, every couple of kilometers there are benches to rest and enjoy the view. Most of the old stations have been renovated and now offer a space to sit and have a snack, with clean bathrooms.
It is a unique way of getting to know these mountains. Close to the villages there are many intersections with roads, where it is necessary to slow down and accelerate again, but there are large lines without any obstacles, where you can gas and enjoy the moment.

Brilliant cycle path on former railway tracks. As I said, there are frequent interruptions in sections where field paths cross. I rode the route on my racing bike without any problems, and with around 500 metres of elevation in one direction it is also quite challenging and fun for sporty riders.
