    Medvědí chata is the property of VHS Brno and serves primarily as a training base for our members, especially in the winter months. The cottage was bought in 1968 with money from the work of our members, it was reconstructed part-time and is also maintained part-time.
    The capacity of the cottage is 30 places. If someone shows interest in ordering Medvědinca, the customer must pay the administrator a deposit for at least 20 guests.
    The cottage is more modest in its equipment, but it offers the right adventure and romance in the middle of the woods, without unnecessarily disturbing achievements of civilization such as hot water, central heating or electricity (in the winter months, the generator starts up in the evening). In winter, the Paprsek mountain hotel, 2 km away, offers plenty of groomed cross-country trails and a ski slope with artificial snow. You can spend the evening with friends in the common room with stylish furniture by the light of kerosene lamps. In summer, you can use the sports field behind the cottage or sit by the campfire. Children have a sandpit available here. On hot summer days, you can refresh yourself in the mountain stream that flows right in front of the cottage.
    The place is ideal for hiking, the surrounding forests are full of blueberries and mushrooms. Other well-known places in the Jesenice and Rychleb Mountains are also accessible, such as Ramzová, Petříkov or Králický Sněžník, with slopes in winter and, for example, a unique bobsleigh track in Petříkov in summer. The Bear Hut has its own charm, and if you don't need a four-star hotel with full board for your stay, you certainly won't be disappointed.
