The elegant building is a typical example of an eighteenth-century noble residence.
It was built for the Cavenago counts, lords of the village in the 18th century. Inside it has rooms with frescoed ceilings, embellished with tapestries, paintings and precious furniture.
It is currently rented for events and weddings.

A few steps from the centre, hidden by trees and houses, lies one of the most precious and sumptuous wonders of Trezzo: Villa Cavenago. Overlooking the Adda River and a garden of approximately 55,000 square metres, it is one of the most elegant and beautiful monuments in Trezzo, a symbol of the ancient feudal powers that controlled the territory since 1600.

There has been talk of this Villa since 1500, but there are certainties only in 1600, when the Cavenagos become feudal lords of Trezzo and landowners of vast areas of the territory and of many buildings in the historic centre. 1647 is cited as the starting date.
