There is something sinister and sad about this place. the first bridge was built in the 1930s, in the 1990s both parts were renewed and rebuilt in the same construction. In a length of approx. 120m, it spans the Teufelstal in the Saale-Holzland district at a height of approx. 50m. If you stand below the bridge looks huge and it is impressive to look at it. Unfortunately, sad events are also associated with the bridge, as a crime has only recently been solved. Such things make you sad and distract you from the beautiful landscape.

The two 65 m high prestressed concrete bridges lead the A4 motorway over the Teufelstal valley. The bridges are a replacement for the original bridge, which has become too narrow as part of the expansion of the highway and was demolished.
