There is a medieval stone cross on the way from Parteschfeld to the Kienberghaus. The right side of the cross has disappeared.
From the spot you have a good view of the village of Partschefeld from the outside.

Quote: "Say: It was at the time when the so-called Vorwerk vom Edelhofe Uhlstädt, today the Schütze farm, existed in Partschefeld. At that time there were two shepherds in the village. One belonged to the farm and had to look after the sheep of the same, while the other had to look after the sheep of the local farmers.
One day, for whatever reason, both shepherds and their sheep were in what is now the Kreuzenberg part of the field, a small hill south of the village. Because of this, some sheep were confused. That was the reason for a quarrel between the two shepherds, which degenerated into a fight in which the shepherd had to lose his life.
The local shepherd then approached the village with his flock, crossed the road below it to Uhlstädt and drove his sheep up again on the other side. The local shepherd soon lay down on the edge of the path that leads to the Schifftal (now the garden of the Seyfarth family) and died from the injuries he had sustained.
Both shepherds were buried on the spot of their deaths. Each of the graves was provided with a stone cross. For many years the cross on the Kreuzenberg disappeared, but later it was back in the same place. The cross for the local shepherd had fallen over the years and was only partially visible. When the wall to Seyfarth's garden was built, it was given its place there. The shepherd's staff is carved into its front.
