Every fishing season, thousands of bottom-dwelling sharks and rays get entangled and ensnared as by-catch by trawlers and longliners. Often too injured to be returned to the wild, these creatures have gotten a second-chance at life at the Shark and Ray Rescue Centre in Bob's Farm, NSW. Once rehabilitated, the marine life at the Centre is rehomed in public aquariums.
