Considered the largest Christianized megalith in Brittany, the menhir of Men Marz in Plounéour-Brignogan-beaches overlooks the landscape at 8.50m above the ground with its 80 tons. Dating from the Neolithic period (between - 4500 and - 2500 years before our era), it is said that the local custom invited young girls to throw a pebble at the menhir. If it remained stuck in the notch, on the upper part of the stone giant, they would be married within the year.
