Inside, the extremely rich furnishings are surprising: the pulpit, altar, baptismal font, pews, barrel ceiling and chandelier are artistic carpentry works, lovingly painted with floral motifs. In the painting of the walls there are clear echoes of Art Nouveau. The windows made by the glass painter Otto Linnemann are a particular attraction. The four windows behind the altar depict the birth and resurrection of Christ as well as the baptism of the last Wenden prince in 1136 and the conversion of the Brandenburg elector to the Protestant faith in 1539 as milestones in regional church history.
