After five years of planning and construction time, the budget was enormously exaggerated and the costs of the subject, which had recently grown to 450,000,000 dirhams, were adjusted astronomically. The leaders of Osus and the city of Dubai consider the project to be groundbreaking in the entertainment and education sector, despite the economic crisis that has now hit the Persian Gulf, and described "Stargate Dubai" as unique among the press in the entire Arab world. The park has proved to be a huge flop and is permanently closed. You can still see the ruins.

Stargate was a theme park in Dubai, which opened in 2009.

When it was closed is not very clear. In 2013, many visitors to Zabel Park asked if and when it was open. Apparently everything was over. Unfortunately, it is like everything nowadays. It remains orphaned. Too bad, I would have been interested in what it looks like inside.
