"In Querenburg is located in the immediate vicinity of the mouth of the creek (On the Kalwes) the farm Schulte-Overberg.
The formerly largest farm of the peasantry Querenburg was owned by the Schulte-Overberg family until the end of the 19th century.
In the 14th and 15th centuries, the court owners were open-firers and adjudicators at the Bochum Free and Femegericht.
There was a grain distillery in the yard in the 19th century.
The building with the chimney is preserved to this day.
The house was demolished in the early 20th century and replaced by a new building.
