According to the information board: "At the rest area at Stöckicht, they rest on very special terrain.
In the 1960s, there were completely different plans for this location. Investigations, measurements and drilling were carried out in this area.
The aim was to build a reservoir at this location to improve the water supply and protect against flooding. Grünberg and a large part of the Seifersdorf Valley and the Roter Graben as far as Langebrück would have been submerged in water."
