Cool view of the Puigcampana. The descent is brilliant, fast, but the wide view to Finestrat is even better. 👍 The Puig Campana is a 1408 m high mountain in the province of Alicante, Spain. It belongs to the Cordillera Penibética mountain system. The mountain towers over the provincial capital Alicante. "Puig" is a name for mountain that is often used in eastern Spain, related to the southern French puy.

The Puig Campana mountain is one of the highest mountains in the province of Alicante. For this reason and because of its particular shape as a cliff, it is the reference point for many routes since it can be seen from many kilometers away.

One of the most famous competitions in Spain is the vertical kilometer of Puig Campana, it is usually held in August and it is quite a spectacle to witness.

Beautiful view of the Puigcampana during the descent towards Sella. The Puigcampana is the second highest mountain in the province of Alicante. A little later at Sella you can enjoy the panorama again and the view of the village, which fits perfectly into the picture in front of the mountain.
