The Kleine Kamit is a geological and botanical gem in which the rare pasque flower thrives particularly well, as do gentian, silver thistle and various types of orchids.
Thanks to its calcareous soil, the Kleine Kalmit also offers the best conditions for viticulture. The Burgundy vines in particular thrive here.

What are the best times of year to visit Mater Dolorosa Chapel for specific natural features?

For viewing the rare pasque flowers, gentians, and orchids, spring (typically March to May) is the ideal time when they are in bloom.
