Carding Mill Valley is a great fun descent - fast and winding before getting a bit more rocky, with a few drainage channels to negotiate, and a ford at the end. It also works well as a climb, too. It gets busy at the bottom, not least because of the cafe, but (as is often the way) it's a lot quieter at the top!

So many trails to choose from, do check out the map at Carding Mill as there are some trails that are just for hikers, the trails are not particularly challenging, but fast and fun.
