The rustic alpine hut towers at 1300 meters at the foot of the "Hohe Salve" and directly on the idyllic Filzalmsee.
The Filzalm is the oldest serviced alpine hut in the Wilder Kaiser-Brixental mountain world
and was newly renovated in spring 2017.
We have taken great care to traditional crafts
with high-quality materials and to maintain the rustic style.
Hearty delicacies, a cozy atmosphere
and a fantastic panoramic view invite you to linger.

The small Filzalm is the oldest alpine farm on the Hohe Salve. The original building structure has been preserved to this day. On the small terrace you can enjoy the view of the nearby Filzalmsee while taking a leisurely rest.
The Filzalm is open from May to October. In May and June it is open from Wednesday to Sunday, and in the rest of the season it is open daily.
