The city tour "Wilhelmshaven and the Revolution 1918/19" informs about the beginning and the history of the revolution of 1918 at ten historical places in the city area, which began as a sailor uprising and sealed the end of the German Empire.

In October 1918, the war was already lost. When the naval command orders a naval assault, the crews defend themselves against this apparent death raid. On October 29, they refuse obedience. The company is canceled. The fleet chief lets the bandage pull apart. A squadron is transferred to Kiel, where 47 mutineers are interned.
