The Stone Forest is one of the top attractions here and definitely worth a visit. Such rock formations supposedly only exist here. (according to our guide)
Really very impressive! The terrain is spacious, so plan enough time.
However, I would recommend a visit in the morning, in the prevailing desert climate, the sun burns down mercilessly and there is virtually no shade. The official place to visit the stone forest, it's really worth a look.
The formations are mainly stone columns between 5 and 7 meters high and from 0.3 to 3 meters thick.
