Large port of Neuchâtel with many fancy boats. There is also a cafe and an ice cream shop. Ideal for a break on the tour around Lake Neuchâtel.Other things: visitors who are only staying in Neuchâtel for a day, if only for an aperitif, cannot help but drop by the large port south of the square and the car park of the same name. This is where the big navigation boats dock, and many locals come here in the summer to enjoy a pleasant evening on one of the crowded terraces (the other choice is the Place des Halles). Here is also the Hotel des Postes, an imposing yellow stone building inaugurated in 1896. In fact, however, the city has four ports. Discover them.
