Beinn Eibhinn is probably one of the most awkward Munros to get to the foot of, before you even take into account the ascent. It is 3,615 feet (1,102 m) in height and stands at the northeastern end of Loch Ossian. I climbed it in August 2019, starting and finishing at Loch Ossian Youth Hostel, at the southwestern end of the Loch (and climbing Aonach Beag and Geal Charn on the same day). Other long walks in can be done from Culra Bothy or Loch Laggan, but all take a bit of effort. If you see another person in this area they are either a committed hillwalker or very very lost.

From Culra bothy, the walk to this peak is long, but if you have done the ridge and this is your fourth Munro then the reward of 4 in a day makes the long walk worth while. Descent is usually back to the bealach between it and Aonach Beag, and down to the stalkers track that runs between it and Ben Alder. A long walk back to the bothy from here, the path is good and fast going once reached, but no path to follow down its slopes.
