At 322 meters you can enjoy the beautiful view and recover from the climb of the via ferrata. The name Vierseenblick comes from the fact that you see four different stretches of the Rhine from up here, as if they were four lakes. From Boppard drives up a chair lift, at the mountain station you will find a restaurant.

Nice also to strengthen for the descent when you went up with the lift. You definitely need the energy you need for the descent via the via ferrata or the hiking / climbing variant.

The Gedeonseck or Vierseenblick is a vantage point above Boppard and the Bopparder Hamm. Bopparder Hamm is the name given to the largest loop of the Rhine. The slopes on the left bank of the Rhine are characterized by viticulture. At 75 hectares, they form the largest contiguous area under vines in the Middle Rhine Valley. Mainly Riesling, Rivaner and Pinot Noir are grown there. The name Vierseenblick comes from the fact that the Rhine is perceived from there as four separate lakes due to two hills that restrict the view.
